Louise Farrenc’s Nocturne in E-flat Major, Op. 49 was recently featured on BBC Radio 3’s Mindful Mix — but also that this performance forms part of my new album of Farrenc orchestral and piano works, just released on Sony Classical.

📀 New Album: Louise Farrenc Orchestral Works

This album was recorded in June 2024 at Smecky Studios, Prague, with the Prague Metropolitan Orchestra. Notably, it brings together Farrenc’s powerful overtures alongside a selection of her piano works, newly orchestrated by Christopher Hussey.
