Shea Lolin Appointed to International Jury for the European Championship for Wind Orchestras 2026

I am delighted to announce that I have been appointed to the international jury for the European Championship for Wind Orchestras (ECWO) 2026, which will take place in Stuttgart, Germany, from 20–22 November 2026 as part of the BRAWO music fair.

The European Championship for Wind Orchestras is one of the continent's foremost competitions for symphonic wind orchestras, bringing together national representatives from across Europe to compete at the highest artistic level. Hosted biennially, the championship celebrates musical excellence while fostering collaboration and cultural exchange across the European wind music community.

For the 2026 championship I will serve as one of three international adjudicators, alongside Dr Frank Elbert (Germany) and Isabelle Ruf-Weber (Switzerland), with Jan van den Eijnden (The Netherlands) serving as the independent jury chairman.

It is a tremendous honour to be invited to contribute to an event of this standing, and I look forward to hearing performances from ten of Europe's leading wind orchestras as they compete in Stuttgart this November. The appointment reflects my continuing commitment to supporting artistic excellence, encouraging new repertoire, and contributing to the wider international wind music community.
