Shea Lolin studied at the Colchester Institute School of Music with Charles Hine and Angela Fussell (clarinet) and Francis Reneau (piano). He won the Brookes Trophy for Woodwind Ensembles, the Harvey Benham Cup for Mixed Ensembles and the John Myatt Cup for Solo Woodwind.
Since graduating over a decade ago, performing on several instruments is a major part of Shea’s professional career. As a clarinettist, Shea has given numerous solo and chamber performances celebrating the British clarinet repertoire.
Shea is a busy pianist accompanying for exams, festivals and competitions. He also has strong links with many choirs, livery companies and five-star hotels in London, providing entertainment at corporate and private events.
In recent years, he is increasingly more involved as an organist, working with many funeral directors, churches and individuals – particularly in the East End of London. It is through this work that Shea has become a partner with Eminent UK – the exclusive distributor of Eminent organs in the United Kingdom.
